My book is called Skyclan’s Destiny. Skyclan’s Destiny is about a group of cats that live in the wild, they are called clan cats. There are six clans; Thunderclan, Riverclan, Shadowclan, Windclan, Starclan, and Skyclan. All the clans live in separate areas. Starclan is a clan where dead cats go after they die. They give prophecies to the living cats. Starclan lives in the stars. Skyclan lives in a canyon, farther than any of the four clans because their old home was taken over by Twolegs (a.k.a humans).
In the book, Skyclan has just been formed again. Their leader, Leafstar is very happy with how much prey they are catching. In Skyclan, there are some cats who are torn between worlds. They are the daylight-warriors. That means they go to Skyclan in the day and to their humans at night. On a normal day, Sharpclaw, the deputy, spots four cats that are not from any clan, they are rogues. Leafstar greets them and they tell her that they know Firestar. She invites them to stay with them in the clan.
Leafstar soon finds out that there is a dump and it has rats. They come up with a plan to get rid of them. The new cats, Stick, Cora, Shorty, and Coal help them defeat the rats. While hunting, Leafstar and Shrewtooth come across a house with a human that had once captured some of the warriors. They hold a meeting to decide what to do. The clan decides to scare him, and it works!
One night Billystorm finds Sharpclaw and some others training for something he tells Leafstar, and she follows them one night. She discovers that Stick, Cora, Shorty, and Coal aren’t going to stay in the clan and that they need help. Leafstar decides to help them. They to where they live and they must battle another rogue that is threatening their territory. Leafstar realizes that fighting these cats is wrong when a mother with kittens is endangered. She then stops the battle and explains to the rogues that they don’t have to kill each other, they can create borders and stay and hunt within their own borders the two rogue leaders agree on this and Leafstar leaves them and goes back to Skyclan.
